Zoe's Nursery, Part 1
We are almost done with Zoe's nursery! It has come such a long way in the last week... I've posted some pictures to show its progress.
Some of the things you can see in the pictures:
1. Mom and Dad painted the walls a clean white. Thank you!!
2. Lauren made the Pooh curtains (we're going to put blinds behind them).
3. Mom and Dad bought the hopscotch rug.
4. The dresser is one I bought a few years ago - and I wanted to pass it on to Zoe.
5. The chair and ottoman are from Ron and Nancy (we rescued it from their donation to a garage sale). lol
Some of the things still left to do:
6. David's mom bought the crib and changing table - they should arrive next week.
7. Pictures, etc. still need to get put up on the wall.
8. The medicine cabinet still needs to be put up on the wall.
9. Items from the baskets on the floor need to be sorted out into their respective places.
10. We need to finish sorting the closet to put away the other big things (bath tub, stroller, etc.)
Stay tuned for "Zoe's Nursery, Part 2," as more pictures will be posted in the upcoming week. :)

36 Weeks
Here is my 36 week picture. Tomorrow (Monday), I will be full-term! Can you believe it?! How fast time flies!
We had a very nice Resurrection Day. We started the morning at church, celebrated Communion at the end of service, and headed to my parents for a brunch with family. After a quick trip home to make some Five Layer Dip, we went to David's mom's house for a 3:00 dinner with his family. We took a nice drive on our way home, via the airport, where we watched a few airplanes take off, and saw a nice sunset over the West Mesa. It was a very nice day, and a great time to reflect on what Jesus has done for us on the cross, and through His resurrection. What an awesome God we serve! :)
For those who want it:
Five Layer Dip
1 can refried beans
3 avocados, mashed
garlic salt
8 oz sour cream
1-2 Roma tomatoes, chopped
shredded cheese
Put refried beans into bottom of glass pan. Season avocados with garlic salt (to taste), and spread avocados over beans. Layer sour cream on top of "guacamole." Put tomatoes on top of the sour cream, and cover with cheese. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Serve as dip, with chips or crackers.

Zoe's Cradle
Late last night, the rocking cradle made its appearance in our bedroom - the first of many sweet things for Zoe! :) It was a "surprise" gift from David's mom, and it was so easy to put together! Actually, I sat and read the instructions and handed David the pieces, while he assembled it. lol. I took a couple pictures, without the cradle sheet, so you could see it in the corner of our bedroom. So fun! :)
